Sub-processors
The third parties Carbon Giant engages to help provide the Service, and what each one does.
Carbon Giant Ltd engages the third-party sub-processors listed below to help provide the Carbon Giant service. Each sub-processor is bound by data protection obligations no less protective than those set out in our Data Processing Agreement, and processes personal data only on our documented instructions.

Line-item text sent to Amazon Web Services for automated classification is processed using automated data minimisation and sanitisation controls designed to detect and strip structured personal and financial identifiers before it leaves the platform, and the language model is configured for zero data retention.
Changes to this list
- We give at least 30 days' notice before adding or replacing a sub-processor, during which a customer may object on reasonable data protection grounds.
- Where a sub-processor is located outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses and, where relevant, the United Kingdom International Data Transfer Addendum.
- Carbon Giant remains responsible for the acts and omissions of its sub-processors.
